Cheaters Announced
A-Rod & company had their day of shame. 50 game suspensions bring all players back in time for the playoffs, so the penalty is a slap on the wrist. And A-Rod can play through his appeal. It seems like MLB did the minimum to keep cheaters out of the game. I still go back to Ryan Braun's speech about his integrity, only to find that he was a cheater too. His 65 game suspension earlier this year means zero - a blip on his radar - since he has millions in salary due him over the next several years. Milwaukee is in last place & has no chance to make the playoffs, so why not take a 2 month vacation. I told my daughter that some players, like some people, just cannot say "I was wrong, I made a mistake." It's not in their DNA. Nothing is ever their fault. It's always someone else. And pampered players like Braun & A-Rod have been treated differently most of their lives because of their sports ability. No one has ever made them personally responsible for their actions. So it continues today.
