Trade Deadline Approaching

What will the Sox do? So far just a minor deal for Matt Thornton who hasn't exactly lit it up out of the pen. Jake Peavey's name is being tossed around. But in reality I hope that Ben & Co. agree with me - keep your young players & use them. We haven't seen Ruby de la Rosa yet. Allen Webster has the stuff, but he needs more seasoning. Brandon Workman has been great. He could be a valuable bullpen guy when the "Clay" man gets back into the rotation. Steven Wright & Drake Britton have looked good. Throw in de la Torre & Beato for good measure. The Sox offense has scored more runs than any other team. I would mix these young pitchers into the big club & take my chances. Why give away valuable pieces for a 2 month rental that may break down? Stay the course, Ben. Stay the course.
