Sox Offense Shutout Again 6-0

Is it time to try Will Middlebrooks? The Red Sox need to score runs again like the #1 run scoring team they are. 2 shutouts in 1 week is unheard of. The odd days - Monday, Wednesday, Friday - don't seems to be good hitters days as Moore, Price & Tillman quieted the Sox bats with ease. Too much ease actually. Where's the patient approach? Where's the swinging for strikes? Even David Ortiz started swinging out of the zone last night. The Sox are too good not to come out of this offensive funk. And it better start tonight. The Sox still have a chance to win 2 in Baltimore (even though that's not looking very likely) & then beat the Rays at home on Monday. A few wins would quiet the critics. Ben Cherington has to consider Jake Peavy, Cliff Lee, Giancarlo Stanton & anyone else out there that could help this team make the playoffs. Baltimore has added pieces. The Yankees just got Soriano. It's like Ben has a need to keep up with the Joneses in the AL East.
