Sox Lose 3rd Straight 11-4
I went to bed when the score was 2-2. I'm glad I did. I could see that Jon Lester was losing his control in the 4th inning & his pitch count was rising. I thought that the Sox did a good job scoring 2 off of King Felix to tie the game. But it looks like the Sox got crushed from that point on. Not having Ellsbury & Victorino in the lineup doesn't help. As usual with these west coast road trips, the Sox are in survival mode until the all-star break. I was hoping for a 3 out of 4 in Seattle, but I'll take a 2-2 split. I hope Allen Webster is up to the task tonight as the team needs a good start from him after last night. It's a good time for the Sox rookie to step up.
