Ryan Braun, A Liar & Cheat

After a pompous, self-serving speech that got an MLB tester fired when he beat PED charges last year, Ryan Braun got caught hands down with the goods this year from his time at the Biogenesis lab in Miami. MLB imposed a 65-game ban yesterday without pay. I'm sure Braun's lawyer crafted his statement about how glad he was that this is over. How about an apology to the guy you got fired? Or how about an apology for lying your ass off last time? The only thing that Braun is truly sorry about is getting caught. And since his team is in last place & there is no chance of getting playoff money this year, why not take the suspension now. Braun is signed through 2020, so 65-games without pay is just a blip on his radar. Braun's case shows the public the audacity of dirty players, a holy-than-thou attitude right up until the time you get caught. Maybe the Brewers should give his salary for 65-games to the guy who got fired.
