Do We Need A Closer?

Different thoughts on this subject on the air waves. We can leave Koji Uehara there & bring up another arm - like Rubby de la Rosa - to be 7th inning guy with Tazawa handling the 8th. We can go after a Jonathan Papelbon or Glenn Perkins (Twins), but that will cost the Red Sox prospects & money. Personally, I think that this team will continue to piece it together & find a way to win. Pap is a blast from the past & he may upset the clubhouse atmosphere. Perkins is a big lefty who throws hard &, again, it's unknown what kind of influence he would be in the clubhouse. Maybe Bailey will find it again over the 2nd half. Maybe the starters will go further into games & give the bullpen less innings to pitch. Let's not bring unknowns into a good dugout & a good clubhouse. Let's win or lose with the guys who are here & with the guys who got us into first place. Nuf ced!
