Ryan Dempster, like Felix Doubront the night before, gets a no decision. Dempster gave up 3 runs over 6 innings, but the Sox batters left their hitting shoes behind as they lose the finale 6-2. Every hard hit ball was right at a Rays fielder last night. But the Sox win the series & move on to Detroit now for 4 with the Tigers. Looks like Lackey, Lester, Webster or De La Rosa, & Aceves get the pitching assignments against a hard hitting Tigers lineup featuring Miguel Cabrera. With an off day on Monday Farrell can use his bullpen as needed. The Sox could use a split to stay in 1st as they near the halfway point of the season. Baltimore is only a game or two back & the O's are for real. Sox hitters will face a tough pitching staff in Detroit with 4 possible starters going to the all-star game. Should be a good series to watch.
