Sox Roll over Jays 7-4
If you score 7 runs in any inning, it's a pretty good indicator that you might win the game. The Sox scored 7 in the 2nd, capped by a Dustin Pedroia homer, to beat the Jays 7-4. Jon Lester looked much better & pitched into the 8th until he tweaked his hip on a landing. Afterwards, he said he felt fine. Meanwhile, before the game it was announced that Clay Buchholz had no structural issues, just inflammation in his bursa sac (whatever that means). Buck will try throwing again after a couple days of rest as he tries to settle down the inflammation in his shoulder. The Sox need Lester & Buck if they are to hold off the other AL East teams over the 2nd half of the season.
