Sox Out-Muscle Tigers 10-6

Lester gives up 5 runs in 5 2/3 innings, but the bullpen (minus an appearance by Bailey) shuts down the Tigers with just 1 run over the next 4 1/3. The flyin' Hawaiian has a big offensive night with 5 RBI. Sox win 10-6. As good as Cabrera & Fielder are on offense, they are below average fielders at first & third. Example, Ells ripped a ball down first base line with the bases loaded that Fielder never even moved for & that led to 2 RBI with 2 more RBI to follow. It will be a good test for Allen Webster today in his 3rd start for the big club. One was good. One was bad. I hope this kid has a good start today. He could be a valuable piece down the stretch.
