Red Sox Get Full Focus on Sports Fans

With the Bruins season over the Boston Red Sox take center stage for New England sports fans until the Patriots begin playing in September. June, July & August - it's all Sox all the time now. Anytime you are in 1st place there is only one place to go - down. However, the depth of the roster with quality players this year has prevented the Sox from tumbling too far away from the top spot. A good home stand could go a long way towards putting a little distance between the Sox & O's, Yankees, Rays & Jays. It starts tonight with Ryan Dempster taking on an improved Colorado Rockies team. We need 5 good performances from Sox starters once around the rotation, something that hasn't happened much lately. After a day off the back of the bullpen should be ready to go with Uehara as the new closer. It's a good time to get hot before the all-star break.
