Pirates & Reds Can't Catch Cards

If the Pittsburgh Pirates or Cincinnati Reds played in the AL East or in several other divisions, they would be in first place. Both teams are 11 & 12 games over .500, winning at a clip of .605. However, the St. Louis Cardinals are streaking out of the blocks with a record of 37-19, a full 18 games over .500. You wouldn't expect the Cards to keep up that pace. An influx of young pitching with timely hitting & good defense has served them well to date. Wouldn't it be interesting if both wild cards came out of the NL Central? Keep an eye on these 3 teams going forward.
