Pedroia the Destroya' Again
Let's take last night, for example. Petey singles home the first 2 runs of the game. Later in the 8th he catches a pop around the pitcher's mound that could have plated the go-ahead run for the Rays. In the 10th he fields a beautiful bunt by Sam Fuld that could have scored the winning run. And in the 14th he starts the game-ending 4-6-3 double play. This 2013 version of Dustin Pedroia reminds me of Derek Jeter in his prime. Very good in the field. Tough at the plate. Not the guy other teams want to see batting in critical situations. And you can't get him out of the lineup to take a day off. Pedroia is a legit MVP candidate this year.
