Ells Out of Lineup Again

It's been 5 days & still no Jacoby Ellsbury in the lineup. A groin injury after his 5 steal performance is keeping him on the bench. Is a DL stint the next step? Perhaps. As said before, it's too bad that this groin injury hits just as Ells was burning it up on offense. So, in his place continues Jackie Bradley Jr. who contributed 2 doubles in his last full game at Yankee Stadium. It's almost as if JBJ is another leadoff hitter when he hits 9th, then has Daniel Nava behind him. Jacoby Ellsbury & Jackie Bradley Jr. will be talked about a lot in the coming months & certainly Ells quite a bit at the trade deadline.
