Even a 3 hour rain delay could not cool off the red hot Boston Red Sox. Sox sweep the Twins in Minnesota with a 5-1 win yesterday. John Lackey was very good for the first 6 & could have gone more if not for Mother Nature intervening. Will Middlebrooks hit a shot over the wall in right center before the rain. Dustin Pedroia hit one out in left field after the rain delay for a big 2-run jack to give the Sox breathing room. And so the Sox are 5-1 on this 9-game road trip. My prediction of 6-3 is looking pretty good now.
