Red Sox, Yankees Lose Again

Sox have lost 2 in a row. Yankees have lost 4 in a row. Even Mariano Rivera blew a save on Tuesday. What's the world coming to? I think if this were the stock market, you would say that these recent losses are a market correction. Neither team will end up winning 96 or more game this year. John Lackey gave up 3 long balls last night & ended up losing 3-2. Nice comeback try in the 9th as the Sox score 1 & get the tying & go ahead runs on base. But it was not to be when Daniel Nava grounded out. Again, for the 2nd night in a row, an 8th inning home run does in the Sox. Tazawa gave up one on Tuesday. Uehara gives up one on Wednesday. I think it is a symptom of being overused by John Farrell. Tazawa & Uehara are on pace for 70 appearances. Miller & Bailey need to start shouldering more of the workload. Breslow has been so-so since his return. And Alex Wilson was optioned back to Pawtucket. Franklin Morales get the start tonight as Buck get pushed back again due to his shoulder issue. If Buck doesn't make a start in New York this weekend, Red Sox Nation should start getting concerned. A win tonight to split with the Phillies would be nice. I'm sick of seeing Pap already!
