Jon Lester Stands And Delivers

Jon Lester acted like an ace, a stopper, a top-of-the-rotation guy last night as he limited the visiting Blue Jays to 1 hit in a complete game shutout. Sox win 5-0. Lester only had 5 punchouts, but he got many outs early in counts which allowed him to go deep into the game. I believe one inning was just 6 pitches for 3 outs. Also of note is the continued hitting of unsung hero Daniel Nava. Nava has come up with big RBI's in several games as he did again last night. If the offense puts up 5 runs a game, the Sox pitchers will win more times than not. Perhaps Lester has righted the ship for the rest of this series. Nice leadership, Jon!
