Indians Scalp Red Sox 12-3

Do you think that the players on Tito's new team were motivated to make his return to Fenway Park a memorable one? It sure looked that way as the Tribe pounded Ryan Dempster, Clayton Mortensen & Alex Wilson for 12 runs. This is the 3rd bad outing for Dempster who is not looking like the same pitcher from April. In the 3rd Big Papi admired his handywork for a few seconds before rounding the bases on his 3-run shot to right. But that was all that the Sox offense could muster. Pitchers can have a bad night, but I'm more concerned that the offense is swinging for so many balls out of the strike zone. They make mediocre pitchers look like world beaters. Today's another day. Let's see if John Lackey can build off of his last good outing.
