18 Games Left in May

The Red Sox are 4-8 so far in May. With 18 games left in the month the Sox need to go 11-7 to end up at 15-15. Starting tomorrow night, the Sox are away for 3 in Tampa Bay, then 3 in Minnesota & then 3 in the Windy City against the White Sox. This 9-game road trip represents half the games left this month. 6-3 would be a nice goal to shoot for as they need to win series again. The Sox come home for 4 against the Tito Francona Indians & then for 2 more inter-league games against Pap & the Phillies. I'd be OK with a 3-3 record. Then the Sox finish out May on the road for 2 more against the Phillies & one against the Yankees. A 2-1 record in these last 3 games would bring them to 11-7 & 15-15 for the month. Let's see how my crystal ball works out.
