Sox With Emotional 4-3 Win

It seemed a fitting game for a day that started in backed Fenway Parlk with a most respectful tribute to all the happenings in & around Boston this past week. With 2 outs in the 8th Daniel Nava hit a 3-run homer to right to give the Sox a come from behind win. Clay Buchholz & James Shields were great. But the emotions of the day & the game belonged to Boston. Sox win 4-3. I will say that after watching the very emotional tribute to victims & first responders & law enforcement officers prior to the game it seemed to me that the game was secondary. However, I'm sure that Red Sox players were ready to deliver a win to a city that had gone through so much. And they did deliver a win in dramatic fashion. This was more than a game. It was a poetic & healing Saturday.
