Sox Sweep, Big Papi Returns

The Red Sox finished off a sweep of the Cleveland Indians with a good performance by Jon Lester & continued timely hitting by Mike Napoli. Sox have won 6 in a row with sweeps over Tampa Bay & Cleveland. At 11-4 the Sox have everything going in the right direction. So, here comes David Ortiz into the mix, scheduled to return from the DL tonight against James Shields & the KC Royals. If you're an optimist, you say Big Papi will bolster the offense. If you're superstitious, you say don't mess with a lineup that is winning. Jackie Bradley, Jr. is the likely candidate to be sent back to Pawtucket. That means Daniel Nava & Johnny Gomes will share more playing time & Mike Napoli will not get time as DH. It also means less time for bench players. Let's hope Big Papi is a positive.
