The Boston Red Sox were stymied by the pitching of J.A. Happ & the Toronto bullpen. Sox could only muster 2 hits, a double in the 1st by Ells & a single in the 9th by Petey. More importantly, John Lackey had to leave the game with a bicep injury. At the time Lackey was pitching very well in his first start, only surrendering a 2-run jack to Arrencibia. It looks like the injury will not be as serious as originally thought. If he needs to skip a start or two, I hope the Sox give Allen Webster a try. Rubber game of the series in Toronto is tomorrow with Lester facing Dickey. Should be a good one.
