Sox Bring Bostonians A Much Needed Win
A day after the Boston Marathon bombings the Red Sox gave their fans a reason to relax for a few hours. They scored 7 runs in the 2nd inning en route to 7-2 win over Terry Francona & the Cleveland Indians. As Will Middlebrooks said before the game, he hoped that his team could give fans in Boston something to cheer about for a few hours since the Celtics & Bruins had postponed their games. The Red Sox did just that. They have a tougher task tonight when they face ex-teammate Justin Masterson who is off to a 3-0 start like Clay Buchholz. It was hard for me & I'm sure many others to get back to their normal routines yesterday, but we are a tough & determined people. No one can take away our freedom.
