Sox Blast Away Off Jays

What a day for Will Middlebrooks! 3 HR's, 1 double, 14 total bases. With the Sox scoring 5 runs in the first inning off of R.A. Dickey they never looked back en route to a 13-0 whitewashing of the Blue Jays in Toronto. Sox win their 2nd series & improve their record to 4-2. 6 homers in all today - Middlebrooks with 3 & one each by Ellsbury, Napoli & Nava. Meanwhile, Jon Lester tamed the Jays bats with 7 shutout innings to win his 1st game of 2013. It was a nice comeback for the Boston 9 after a 5-0 defeat the day before. Now back to Fenway for the home opener versus the Birds of Baltimore on Monday.
