Lackey's Injury Not As Serious As Thought

Is it possible for Red Sox fans to feel sympathetic towards John Lackey's injury? Sure, why not? The big righty came into camp in great shape this year, a sign that he is willing to work hard to regain his competitiveness. And he was pitching well in Toronto when the injury occurred. The old beer & chicken "Slackey" seems to have been replaced by a guy who wants to win this year. I like it. Don't we all need a 2nd chance?
