Hanrahan Out With Hamstring

Isn't it funny how when a player is going bad an injury crops up? Joel Hanrahan is now day-to-day as we find out he has been dealing with a hamstring strain. Farrell didn't think a trip to the DL would be necessary, but he didn't completely rule it out. In his last 2 outings Hanrahan gave up 5 runs in the 9th to the Orioles & walked the 1st 2 batters in the 9th against the Rays before being lifted. Not really what you want from your closer. The Sox have other good arms in the pen that can cover the late innings until Hanrahan is back. Andrew Bailey may be hard to move out of the closer's role if he keeps throwing as effectively as he has been.
