Buck Goes Tonight

If the offense can manufacture runs once again & put pressure on the Yankee defense, like Robinson Cano tossing the ball home too late to get a hustling Johnny Gomes, Clay Buchholz should have an easy outing. But we know nothing is easy in New York, even facing a depleted Yankee lineup. Huroki Kuroda had a great season last year, but can he duplicate that again at his age. We'll see. It would be nice to win game 2 & take the 1st series of the year without splitting, then putting pressure on Dempster to win his 1st Red Sox start on Thursday. Let's take the mystery out of it & win tonight.

It would be nice to see Lester & Buck become a good 1-2 punch. I just hope the other starters can come through as well. It's early, but I would hate to see us revert to a "Spahn & Sain then pray for rain" scenario.
