Buchholz, Nava Sink O's 3-1

Clay Buchholz was very good as was his counterpart from Baltimore. However, a 3-run blast by Daniel Nava in the 7th was all the offense needed today. Sox take game 1 of this series 3-1 & send the Fenway opening day crowd home happy. Buck was very good & Nava had the timely jack. Only 5 hits aside for each team. Sox take a page out of the O's book from last year in winning a tight contest. Hanrahan gave up a solo shot to Jones in the 9th, but that was too little too late. Not bad for a bunch of guys that were picked last by most writers. At least the Sox players are making those writers eat their words early in April.
