Allen Webster Gets A Start

Due to Friday's postponement Sox fans get a day-night doubleheader today with rookie Allen Webster pitching the nightcap after Ryan Dempster takes the afternoon call. Webster was under the radar in spring training due to all the hype about JBJ. But he was by far the best young pitcher out there. It will be great to see how this kid handles the pressure of pitching at Fenway against an improved Royals team. Webster is part of the future after Lackey & Dempster are gone.
