Aceves Sent to Minors

I always remember a line from the movie Walking Tall. Buford Pusser says that people with the most to hide talk the most. And Alfredo Aceves has been talking a lot about his teammates lack of support when he pitches instead of focusing on his own job. I give Farrell credit for stopping the bleeding & sending him back to the minors to straighten himself out. Alfredo has talent. He's just not there sometimes mentally. With Lackey ready to return on Sunday & Hanrahan & Breslow shortly thereafter it was time for a move. Even Daniel Bard is getting a second chance to see if he can pitch in the big leagues again. As Farrell said, you have to earn your opportunity & then perform. Aceves has not performed.
