Teixeira Joins Injury List

Gotta' love that World Baseball Classic! Every 4 years pros from the USA hurt themselves because they have had to speed up their normal spring training regimen. Mark Teixeira joined that list yesterday when he hurt his right wrist taking batting practice. Teixeira flew to New York for x-rays & MRI, then he will rejoin the Yankees back in Tampa. Granderson is already out with a broken bone. A-Rod is out at least half a year if not more. Jeter is gingerly getting back into playing shape after a broken ankle. It's going to be one of those years for the Yankees. But, like most of Red Sox Nation, I would never count them out.
