Sweeney Let Go

Ryan Sweeney became the odd man out yesterday as the Red Sox decided not to purchase his contract. In a way too bad as Sweeney had a credible year for the Sox in 2012 up until he broke his hand punching a wall. In the meantime, Jackie Bradley Jr. now looks assured of a roster spot along with Mike Carp. Junior could add some youthful enthusiasm to this team of newcomers. I think he would be a welcomed presence on the field & in the clubhouse.
