Baseball Show Returns

CSNNE's Baseball Show made its return yesterday. While most of the time it's 4 guys arguing with each other I thought there were a few good points. The panel was split on whether starting Jackie Bradley Jr. in the bigs was a good idea. One fan called in & said given the big outfields in New York & Toronto it was better to have 3 center-fielders out there in Bradley, Ells & Victorino than exposing Johnny Gomes. I thought that the caller had a good point. My other takeaway was the spotlight that Bradley took away from Allen Webster. Webster had a monster spring & he will be ready as the first call-up when one of the starting pitchers goes down. Other than that, Neumie was defending Bobby Valentine like a crazy man, but it made for theatrical TV. Thank goodness for the DVR so you don't have to watch all of the self-promotion commercials for CSNNE. 1 or 2 decent points from this 3-hour show is about all you get, but that's OK with me.
