A-Rod Has Surgery on Hip

The same day that the Red Sox sign Mike Napoli after prolonged negotiations due to a routine physical that found his hip injury, A-Rod had his surgery to repair his ailing hip. According to reports, surgery was successful on the 37-year old. A-Rod is expected to miss 6 months while Kevin Youkilis mans 3B in his place. It will be interesting to see if the $27 million man ever makes it back onto the field in 2013.
