Won't we miss that big smile from Cody Ross! One & done with the Red Sox. Ross signs a 3-year deal with the Arizona Diamondbacks for $26 million. It gives him security, so why not take it. The Sox earlier signing of Jonny Gomes at a cheaper rate may give the team the same production in the outfield. With Jackie Bradley, Jr. & Bryce Brentz in the wings the Sox did not want to go 3 years with Ross. So good luck, Cody! We enjoyed your short stay in Beantown.
