Yanks Resign Pettitte, Mo; Martin Gone

The New York Yankees brought the band back together for another season with the signings of Andy Pettitte & Mo Rivera. Russell Martin, a Red Sox killer, escaped to Pittsburgh of all places for a 2-year contract worth $17 million. It's really mind boggling to see the dollars being thrown around. I'm wondering now if the Sox shouldn't offer $25 mil for 3 to 5 years in an effort to get Josh Hamilton. At least you would get a top producer in Hamilton when he is on the field.
