Pats Escape Close Call

One more completion by Ryan Fitzpatrick & it's a loss. Instead it was a miscommunication & a pick by Devon McCourty on a ball thrown directly to him with 30 seconds left in the game. Pats win 37-31. What's the old saying? An ugly win is better than a pretty loss. I think that line is very appropriate to describe Sunday's win over the Bills. The Bills penalized themselves & fumbled away the 1st half. The Pats defense followed suit in the 4th period with stupid penalty after stupid penalty. In the end it was a final mistake, a pick, that sealed the loss for the Bills. No Pats fans can be looking at this 6-3 record & say that they are comfortable that this team can go far in the playoffs - not right now. Not after Sunday.
