Ortiz Gets His Multi-Year Deal

Some outlets are reporting it's a done deal. Others are reporting that it's subject to a physical. But all outlets are reporting that David Ortiz has signed back on with the Boston Red Sox for 2 more years at $26 million. Big Papi gets his multi-year deal after 2 1-year deals. The Sox have their #3 or #4 hitter for a couple more years before finding his replacement. It's a win-win. This will certainly be #34's last contract with the Sox & he gets a 2nd year with no strings attached. That's respect for you.
