More Relievers Are Available

Injuries to Joakim Soria (Royals) & Ryan Madson (Reds) led to the former closers being let go by their current teams. Neither pitched this year due to arm surgery. And Rafael Soriano (Yankees) - who closed in place of Mo Rivera this past year - declined his 3rd year with the pinstripes in search of a multi-year deal. Any of these guys could be late-inning bullpen relievers in addition to or in place of Andrew Bailey. I'm not sold on Bailey staying healthy for a whole year, so his closer's position (like everything else) should be reviewed by the Sox for an upgrade. Soria & Madson will be cheaper than Soriano due to their injuries. Just more names for Ben to consider this year.
