Wild Card Cards Still Winning

The Cards don't want to give up their crown. They are on an amazing run to the World Series - again. They beat the Giants 3-1 last night to take a 2-1 NLCS lead. Chris Carpenter miraculously shows up at the end of the year with one less rib & a few less tendons, starts pitching like he never missed a beat. Carlos Beltran goes down & his replacement hits a 2-run homer last night. Mike Matheny better enjoy every minute of his freshman year as manager because he will be hard pressed to duplicate it again. And all this without big Albert whose team didn't make the playoffs. It's really been an amazing run for a Cards team trying to become the first to win back-to-back World Series for the 1st time in the 21st century.
