Time for Decision on Ortiz

Big Papi is coming back. He knows it. The Red Sox know it. It's time for Red Sox management to bite the bullet & give him his $13 million for next year & perhaps a vesting option for 2014 is he stays healthy & plays in 125 to 130 games. No heavy hitting prospect in the Sox system is closer than 2 years away. As it is, the Sox need to go out & find a complimentary, middle-of-the-order bat on the free agency market to shore up a hitter ahead or behind Ortiz like Gonzalez was. Let's not waste time in prolonging these negotiations with Big Papi. Get it done already. We have other things to do.
