Tigers, Verlander Win Again

It hasn't been much of a series so for in the ALCS. Tigers win again 2-1 last night to go up 3-0 on the Bronx Bombers. The Yankees are experiencing a power outage at the plate at the wrong time of year. And the fact that CC had to pitch the 5th & final game against Baltimore didn't help things either. Throw in the A-Rod situation, the Jeter injury & the Yankees are a team coming apart at the wrong time. As for the Detroit Tigers, they came on strong towards the end of the year & have kept it going in the playoffs. Our friend Jeanne who recently passed away would be proud of her Tigers. Maybe they will go all the way for her.
