Some people just can't keep their mouths shut. Ozzie opened mouth, inserted foot when he said that Fidel Castro was a positive guy that he admired. Not good to say in Miami where Cubans who fled Fidel's dictatorship have very deep wounds. Way to alienate your fan base early in the year. And given the big money spent on guys who didn't produce, Ozzie wasn't long for job security. The Marlins fire Ozzie after 1 year of disappointment. Unlike the Red Sox who didn't spend this off-season, the Marlins spent a ton & got nothing in return except a new ballpark. Good bye Ozzie! Maybe you can put a muzzle on it at your next stop.
