Infield Fly

What a crappy call in the Cards - Braves game! The Cards SS was 10-15 feet into the outfield grass. It didn't make the difference in the game won by the Cards 6-3, but it was an obvious blown call which MLB's Joe Torre backed up. An umpire's call (like balls & strikes) can't be overturned, but it should have been. Poor Atlanta just can't get out of their own way when it comes to the playoffs. One & done for the team with one of the best records in baseball. It was a tough ending to Chipper Jones' career in front of the hometown faithful. But the Cards just keep winning. So it's the Cards, Nationals, Reds & Giants left to slug it out in the NL. The Nats have to be the popular pick to win.
