Giants & 2007

The San Francisco Giants are teking a page out of the Red Sox scapbook from 2007. If you remember, the Colorado Rockies were as hot a team as possible in the playoffs. Unfortunately, they had to sit around & wait for the Boston team to beat Cleveland in 7 games. When the World Series started the Red Sox beat the Rockies in 4 straight. Seems like deja vu in looking at the 2012 world Series. The giants needed 7 games to come back on the Cards while the tigers waited for their opponent. And the layoff seems to have effected all aspects of the Tigers game. The Sox won 2 World Series in 4 years. The Giants came make it 2 in 3 years. Who would have picked the Giants to be one of the two last teams standing in Spring Training?
