Sox Finally Win 4-3
Who would have thought that the Orioles would join the Yankees & Rays in the AL East as teams fighting it out in September for playoff spots? And here we are on the left coast fighting to get 1 win in the last 8 tries over a last place team. Baseball is fickle like that. And one day after I blasted Ryan Lavarnway for poor results he comes up with a game-winning home run after a 3-run shot by Cody Ross. It may be only one win, but a win does help the morale on any team. Another win today & the Sox can finally win a series, something they haven't done in a long time.

As much as I would love to see the Bombers knocked from the play-offs, I find it hard to root for Joe Madden, & Bucky boy. I feel like a schizophrenic when I follow the scores. With the many fans wearing their NY hats (sideways)in Red Sox country, rooting against the Yanks is just too much fun.
