Sox 4, Yankees 3
Ha! Ha! Ha! The one game that the Sox decide to win & it's against the stinkin' Yankees. Even though it seemed like Jon Lester walked 100 batters, the Yankees could only score 3 times off him. Jacoby Ellsbury's 4 hits paced the offense, including the walkoff single to score Ciriaco in the 9th. How big was Lavarnway's throw to throw out Edwardo Nunez trying to steal 2nd in the top of the 9th? It all came together for once - good defense, timely hitting & an OK pitching effort. Take that, Yankees!

Now if they can just win the next 2 they can hopefully remove them from 1st place, and hopefully the playoffs. How are those Dodgers doing? The ex-Sox players are really showing them how to fold in Sept.
