End of Days for Bobby V.

It's been a long time coming. 6 games left to Bobby V's managerial career in Boston. There have certainly been missteps in communication with his coaching staff, players & the media. But Bobby's biggest mistakes - at least to me - have occurred on the field during game situations. The last one that stands out to me was pinch-hitting for Iglesias with a 2-2 count. Why would you do that when the season was already over & you are trying to evaluate Iglesias? Anyways, the season ends on Wednesday & Bobby should be fired on Thursday or Friday. That would be the first order of business in reconstructing the 2013 Red Sox. It's obvious that Bobby's time away from the game impacted his communication skills. A lot changes in 10 years. Just think about your own job & how it's changed over the last 10 years. Valentine doesn't deserve all the blame, but he is a contributor to a failed season of underperforming players. He needs to go.

Bobby, don't let the door hit you on the way out!
