Buchholz the New #1
Even on a day without his best stuff, Clay Buchholz kept his team in the game long enough for the offense to score a go-ahead run in the 9th to win 3-2. When is the last time the Red Sox put 2 wins together? My thought when I was watching this game today was about Daniel Nava. His fielding has certainly improved, as evidenced by a big catch in the 8th last night. I like the fact that he is a switch hitter. But his long swing (almost like Lavarnway's) results in a lot of strikeouts & pop-ups. You have to wonder if Nava has a future with this team as a 4th outfielder or not. He has 2 more weeks to show what he can do.
