What If?

What if Bobby V was able to assemble his own staff & keep his mouth shut at times? What if Josh Beckett was able to be a .500 pitcher? What if Jon Lester could come out of spring training ready to pitch in April & May? What if Big Papi wasn't injured? What if Will Middlebrooks didn't fracture his wrist? What if Ellsbury & Pedroia could perform as in the past? What if Andrew Bailey could stay healthy? What if the Sox had signed Kuroda or Jackson to a 1-year deal in the off season? What if John Lackey stayed in Boston to do his rehab instead of 2-fisting beers? It's that time of year where you look back at a lot of "what if's" because this season is slip, slip, slipping away. It will be a very interesting winter to see if the Sox can right the ship in 2013.
