Morales Stops the Skid

Franklin Morales - 6 innings, 1 run. Who needs Josh Beckett? A very nice effort by Morales & the Red Sox win 6-4. It's all about next year now & Frank Morales is making his case to be a permanent starter. A rotation of Buchholz, Lester, Doubront, Morales &, yes, Lackey to start the year is OK with me. Once Lackey gets traded put Alfredo Aceves back into a starting role. I would rather go with no-names than high-priced, underperforming stars. Having said that, I would give up just about any 5 to 7 players to get Felix Hernandez from Seattle. King Felix just threw a complete game shutout over the Yankees in Yankee Stadium & we need a Yankee killer. Next year starts now.

Rather than a Yankee killer,I'd settle for someone who can beat the Twins, Royals, and the like. This team has proven they can't even do that. They have no chemistry and NO heart period.
